Meet Your Guide
Erin O’Neill
Founder & Director
Welcome!
I am the director, educator and crazy plant lady of Eco Explorers Vermont (EEV). I believe kids need to be exploring, experiencing and experimenting. I hope you can join us for one or more of my exciting programs featuring hands on experiences in an outdoor classroom.
My journey began at the University of Vermont where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Plant Biology and a Master’s degree in Biology focusing on ecological interactions between blueberries, bees and microbes.
I have over a decade of experience as a children’s ski instructor where I have learned to understand the importance of creating engaging learning experiences tailored to different children’s needs and abilities.
I have been running various children’s programs from after school workshops to week long summer camps since 2019.
I am a biology teaching lab coordinator at UVM and a program coordinator for the Vermont Master Naturalist program for the Lower Winooski Valley and Mad River Valley.
I am committed to getting kids outside and connected to nature and farms.
Ski with me!
I’ve been teaching skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort since 2016 and know the mountain inside and out. Whether you’re stepping into skis for the first time, looking to level up your skills, or hoping to explore Stowe with a local guide, I’d love to help you make the most of your time on the mountain.
